Some of Ruth Sansom's handwritten notes of her memories. These notes are in no logical order and many of the loose pages are not numbered. The material describes aspects of the Sansoms' life in England before, during and after the Second World War, life in Tasmania, work with the Education Department and return visits to England in 1961 and 1978. Topics addressed by Ruth Sansom include Sansom's unpublished work, his attitude to the Quakers and his production of T.B. Morris's play 'I Will Arise'. One double sided folio leaf , containing glosses and extracts on legal matters from the Codex lustinianus. The sheets were pasted inside the covers of C. Plinius Secundus, 'Diuinum opus cui titulus historia mundi,' J. Froenius, Basle 1525. The book was formerly owned by Bishop. F.R. Nixon who deposited it in the Diocesan Library in Hobart whence it passed at an unknown date to the Library of Christ College.
